Four years ago, the prestigious Irvine-based West Coast Headquarters of the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine hosted a Pangea World summit which culminated with a magical performance by the Pacific Symphony String Quartet of the Lento movement of Antonín Dvořák’s “American Quartet.” On this 28th day of October, 2018, in this magnificent concert hall—a crown jewel of the late Henry Segerstrom’s visionary leadership—Pangea World proudly reconnects with Maestro Carl St. Clair and the Pacific Symphony in a tribute to the 100th Anniversary of the founding of Czechoslovakia, foreseeing a “New World Symphony for the 21st Century.”
Thank you, Pacific Symphony!
